bumping for you

Hi both my children have had some screaming problems at feed times. One was ff and the other bf.

I took them to the cranial osteopath. It helped with ds(FF). He had had a forceps/ ventouse birth and it was all connected. Also he could only handle a really slow flow of milk even on the slowest teats.

With dd it seemed to be that she was really tired plus again it was the flow. I have a really fast let down. Do you??

Also I tried Infacol which helped too. Sometimes its wind. It sounds like its similar to her though if it happens when you feel the let down.

Good question about the fast letdown, princess...might well be that.

Jingle - have you been expressing a lot more than usual, which would raise your supply sky-high and overwhelm her, I wonder?

jingleboobs · 02/01/2007 14:49

no i have a fast let down but dont do expressing much as i seem to not be able to get any out she seems to hardly be feeding

Here's a thought: your experience last week of her feeding all the time has bumped up your supply and this is causing the over-fast let down.

It should settle down soon

What do you think?

jingleboobs · 02/01/2007 15:26

maybe with that and teething
