stopped breastfeeding and my boobs are agony

I've expressed about ten mls from each boob to relieve the rock hardness every four hours or so but they are utter agony- what else can I do?

I've been stopping gradually over the course of a couple of weeks. Dropped a feed every couple of days. Haven't had any problems. Do you need to stop completely straight away? I have heard that frozen cabbage leaves are good for the pain.

I have been dropping a few over the past couple of days, he cant have my milk due to dairy intolerance

Hope all goes well for you. My son was biting (for 3 months!) and I tried everything to stop him but to no avail, so that's why I had to stop. I've been very emotional about it.
