avent Isis breast pump

I'm mid pumping with my Isis electric pump and it's just started smoking mid pumping...a little scary as you can imagine. As anybody else's pump done this?

I had a similar problem with mine years ago. I contacted Amazon (who I'd bought it from) they sent me another right away and I then returned the faulty one. They were really good when I explained I needed it to pump milk every day.

Thanks! Will contact avent as can't remember where I bought mine. I think I can work out what happened but nothing I could have done to prevent it
