Descaling a steam steriliser

Not sure if this is the right place for this thread but I wondered if anyone could tell me how I descale an Avent steam steriliser? It says to do it with citric acid. I have put lemon juice in it and turned it on but that doesnt seem to have made any difference. I need to descale my kettle too due to all the feeds I make up. Can I use a bit of kettle descaler in it?

Did you not get descaler with it? I got quite abit with my steriliser...

I'm sure you can buy sachets of steriliser descaler from Boots - it's their own brand. Hope that helps.

Oh right. Going to Tescos soon. Do you reckon they might sell it in there? Theyre usualy pretty good for stuff like that.
