Illness 5 weeks???

Hi,

My 5 week old was sick 3 times between 5 and 6 last night, after being fed at 4. He then slept until 9 when he woke for a feed. We then went to bed and he didn't wake until I woke at 4 in a panic (and massive boobs) I fed him less than 1 Breast then at 6 the same on the other side. He's just had a full feed now. Does this sound like something to worry about? He has feed every 3 then every 4 hours since day 5.

Call your health visitor and discuss? Sounds as if he is getting over it, now he is feeding normally, esp if there are no other symptoms ( fever, diarrhoea, lethargy). But it's good to check.

Update
Spoken to HV have been advised it's reflux. Referred to gp to get infant gaviscon. Does anyone have any experience of this.
