Posting out of sheer broken down desperation.
DD is 9 months and has recently (past 2 weeks) reverted back to feeding like a newborn, she's on the breast 80% of the day and asleep the rest!
She feeds all night and is latched on and suckling even when asleep, I'm getting a bit of sleep but not a lot because I'm sore, her latch has never been great but she gets milk and she never used to feed so much.
She is offered 3 meals a day of whatever we're eating but although she's keen to grab the good and put it in her mouth it's mostly spat straight out.
She's had thrush is her mouth pretty much since she was born, she's has loads of both oral gel (Daktarin?) and Nystatin drops and the gp said to try not treating as sometimes over treating can make it worse but she's still got patches at the corners of her mouth. I have also Been treated with Daktarin cream for my nipples so we're not passing it back and forth.
She's tiny for her age, bit seems to be developing well, she can commando crawl and has started pulling up and standing by herself this past few days.
She won't entertain the idea of a bottle or cup of any kind.
She still has exploding bf baby poo twice a day even with the small amount of solids she's having.
Is it an age related phase or are my nipples going to fall off from so much use!
