Swollen Breast

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody at all could possibly offer some advice or shed some light on my breast issue.
I have exclusively BF my DD, now 22 weeks, until 4 weeks ago, when she started rejecting the breast.
Since then I have gradually reduced the amount of feeds I have given her so that now she takes nothing from me. However; my left breast has grown bigger and bigger. It is now about 3 cup sizes bigger than my right breast and you can see the difference through a sweater.
I have been to my GP, she doesn't think that it is mastitis as it is not painful or red. She thought that it may have something to do with my Mirena coil and gave me water tablets.(They haven't worked at all).
Up until I went to my GP (last Monday), I had been expressing milk from the breast to see if that reduced the size, but she advised me to completely stop removing milk from either breast.
Also, I think I need to mention that I had breast implants 5 years ago.

Wat do you think??????

Is it your left breast getting bigger, your right breast getting smaller or a combination of both?
I think you should go back and see your GP again.

Check carefully to see if you have any dry skin on that breast - I did and it turned out to be an abcess ( sorry! I'm sure yours will be fine)

Yellowpoppy- My left breast is definitely getting bigger, right one has not changed much.

Also just checked and there is no dry skin
