Hello, we just started our baby on solids and now we have to go to a funeral that is 4 hours away so will be staying over night this Friday . He is 24 weeks. Any ideas what will I do? Will I just bring his food in a cooler bag? He is on pureed apple and pear for breakfast and sweet potato for lunch. He will be ok food wise for Friday as we aren't leaving until afternoon the problem is Saturday

Just don't bother for this time! He's under six months anyway.

Will be not be hungry? He eats about 10 teaspoons at breakfast and lunch. I am breastfeeding also

Ella's kitchen pouches, don't take fresh stuff.

I would just do milk tbh as he's still under recommended weaning age anyway. If you want to give him food just give him a banana. As in just get a banana and give him half to hold and eat. No mashing and messing around

I used to take a banana, strawberries and a fork, squish squash squoosh and there you go - done. Flowers for your loss.

Breast milk has far more calories than a pear anyway.

Thanks I'll do the mashed fruit thing!

If you eat out you could order stuff like Jacket potatoes as spoon feeding or salad/veggies to nibble on as finger food. My kids loved Cheerios (dry) as finger food.

Honestly - don't work so hard.
