I'm sooo hoping I haven't, but having whinged on here about my sore left breast and finally taken myself off to the GP I think I may possibly have one and wondered what happens if I do...ie what is the treatment etc
GP said I was to try antibiotics first of all to see if they clear it (so I'm walloping them down) but that it might be an abcess developing. Breast is hugely swollen, massively hard and tender but without any rednesss or mastitis symptoms. It is throbbing constantly and I am very uncomfortable. Painkillers taken pretty much constantly keep the pain at bay but don't take it away completely - anyone had anything similar?
