DS2 4.5 months has been on formula since 6 wks old, always been a fussy feeder and we've gone through different teats, bottles, formula including switching to goats milk based, thought he had silent reflux so gp prescribed ranitidine, none of these have really made a difference. He has always taken about 4oz feeds regardless of how long he goes between feeds during the day, but now completely off his milk during thew day. Usually has 1-2oz at waking, then 2oz 4 hours later, 2 oz in the afternoon and maybe 4oz at bedtime - and this is with quite a lot of coaxing, typically he only feeds if I carry him and walk around while doing it . As a result, he is waking up every 3 hrs happily draining 6oz bottles through the night, feeds are without fuss and he goes straight back to sleep. Now I don't expect him to sleep through at this age but a bit more sleep would be nice. Any idea what's going on?

he may be feeding more at night because he is more comfortable - my reflux baby always drained his bottles at night as he was relaxed when feeding so no nasty acid coming back up - i would get his reflux checked out again ...
Does he sleep much in the day ie through a "feed time"?
