Milk blister following blocked duct

Hi ladies,

Does anyone have any tips on dealing with a milk blister? I had a blocked duct last week which I managed to shift but I am left with a milk blister. I've tried following the advice on Kellymom (hot compress, scrape the top off and then nurse) & it seemed to be clearing but it's back again.

How long should I wait before going to the doctor? It's painful when I start feeding but nothing compared to establishing breastfeeding (DS is six months.) I don't think it's thrush as pain lessens rather than worsens during the feed and there is only one blister.
TIA

Probably too late now but I've found the best thing is to follow kellymom advice, take paracetamol and just feed feed feed. (I've had it 3 times now!!)
