Funny 5 mins every night?!

My DS is 5 weeks old. He is EBF. He's not a brilliant sleeper in the daytime, but sleeps well at night.
Every night during out settling routine, he gets silly where he's gurgling away, squealing and thrashing his arms and legs about. It's unbearably cute.
He then starts rooting so I offer him my breast. He latches on momentarily and then is, what I can only describe as, silly... Where he unlatches, kicks and throws his arms about, screeches and then gets upset he's no longer latched on! After several goes at this, I sit him up and he calms right down and then he goes back to my breast no problem...
What is this?! Does anyone else get this?!

Sounds normal. Babies get confused and frustrated sometimes and can find it hard to regulate downwards to a state of calm. You're doing the right responsive thing to help him :)
