So have been diagnosed with thrush of the boobs Sad, so had the single dose of anti thrush stuff and daktarin gel for ds who is 3 weeks old.

Took the pill last night and put gel in his mouth as told. When will it improve?

What else can i do to help and then prevent it again?

FYI...i had a load of antibios due to hideous stitches infection in week one so so far spent this newborn time in pain of one sort... so also taking max paracetamol and nurofen to get by.

Any advice appreciated......

DD had thrush in her mouth but I managed to escape it. Hers cleared up in about 5 days, I'm afraid I can't offer any advice about feeding & reducing the amount of pain you're in. Hope you start feeling better soon though Flowers
