I am only doing 1 feed before bedtime now, she has a blocked nose at the moment and is refusing to feed so i figured now would be a good time for me to stop as have been thinking about it for a while.

Will my milk just dry up ?

She will not drink cows milk so do i just offer her water before bed ? I am woried she will not be drinking enough

hi, when you stop feeding her, your milk will just dry up. As you are only doing on feed a day it shouldn't be too uncomfortable. Do watch out for the BIG hormone swing that will happen.

My DS gave up his last feed during a cold at 16 mths. He didn't seem to notice too much when his cold was done. He did ask once, but that is is. He has water at bedtime.

DD never had water at bedtime, she just went straight into bed.

Neither of mine are were keen on cow's milk after bf -- they sort've looked at me like "this is milk? are you sure?" But they both loved yogurt & cheese. I usually offered a big milky pud with dinner. (e.g. rice pudding or something with custard) to boost that "i'm full and sleepy" feeling, as they didn't have anything before bed. There are many sources of calicum. Now both do drink milk.
