Once opened, how long does a tin of formula last?

I've only made 3 bottles up with it when I was unwell and needed a break, so I've been breastfeeding the rest of the time. It's just occurred to me though, that it might need using up within a certain amount of time? I can't find anything on the tin to suggest this though.

28 days. C&G definitely said on the tin.

SMA is four weeks. We had to throw half a tin away last month and will have to do the same again this month as dd only has one bottle a day. It seems really wasteful but a tin still works out cheaper than the cartons IYSWIM.

It's dried milk. Use it for custards and puddings. Just don't use it with a baby :)

I'd never thought to use it myself!! Have you ever tried it? Is it nice?

Lol I wouldn't, tastes and smells horrid!

4 weeks

Yes Aptamil says 4 weeks. If you need a small amount of formula again then the sterile bottles will work out cheaper (and easier).
