Hello !
I was wondering if one can start breastfeeding again if they have stopped for a whole month. The baby (not mine) is now 4 months old and the mum wants to start again... What does it involve ? etc
Advice needed !... thanks

Yes, it is possible, Thewiseone. Your friend needs to start putting her baby to the breast again. There was a thread about it a while back. Try a search on Mumsnet using 'relactation' and it might bring up something useful. Good luck to your friend.

Yes, it's very possible...co-operative baby, motivated mother, lots and lots of feeding to restore the supply, tailing off of formula feeds to allow for more bfs.....call NCT bf line on 0870 444 8708. Bfcs deal with calls like this quite often. Good luck to her!
