What's better than nipple twiddling?

My ds is an avid twiddler. No bra or restrictive top can stop him. When he feeds his free hand is like a nipple seeking missile and he will twiddle it raw given the chance.
Nursing necklace worked for a while and sometimes a well placed teddy will distract him, but does anyone have tips on saving my nips???

How about a bit of playdoh? Who can resist fiddling with a lump of that?!

How old is he?

2yo. One would think old enough to be told no. It's mostly when falling asleep, so not a good time for productive reasoning.
