formula and exzema

Hi there

After breast feeding for months I have moved to formula but DD2 is getting exzema on her cheeks from aptimil (which was great for dd1). I switched to soya formula and the exzema went, but the health visitors say soya formula is not great for various reasons.

HV suggested infamil but boots say it is no longer produced. Can anyone recommend another brand?

Whats wrong with Soya fomrula? Have recently switched to this because is very sicky and it seems to have helped.

Not sure sorry but im fairly sure that cow & gate is pretty much identical to aptimil so you might want to avoid that.

Best to avoid soya formula unless there is literally no alternative - google risks of soya formula if you want to know more.

TBH - i wouldn;t switch from formula to soya withouth seeing a doctor first.....both of mine were formula fed...DS had exzcema, which he grew out of, DD has never had it. All the brands of formula on the market are pretty much the same IMHO......i've given both of mine SMA and it suited them well.....
