Compressed feeds

My 13 week old used to feed roughly every 3 hours but over the last two weeks this has now come down to 2 hours max (unless she is napping). And by 2 hours she is manically desperate to eat and screaming - like she's never been fed before!

She is still sleeping well through the night so it's not a massive problem I was just wondering if anyone knew why this might happen and how I could stretch it out a bit so I can get out and about a bit easier?

I know I produce a lot of milk as can express 9oz from one breast!

big enormous growth spurt I think.

I don't think you can really stretch it out, but it should settle down eventually! I know what you mean though. DD wakes up and is really hungry straight away, whereas some weeks before she'd gaze about for a bit.

She's my 3rd baby so I'm just going with it...it will pass. :)

We're at 4 months now and she is doing it again this week. but also learning to grab things and starting to roll etc. They are developing lots too.

Thanks for the response - she's worse today. We've had hour breaks between feeds/screams - must be a growth spurt!
