Variflow bottles at 7months?

Hoping someone is around this morning who might be able to help. We are having big issues with teat size. 2 is too slow (20 mins plus to not finish 7oz bottles) and 3 too fast (mam) anyone able to reccomend a variflow option that we could try that might solve this problem. Ideally baby to be in control of the flow so he can (maybe) stop fussing so much over milk.
Thanks in advance.

We've just put 6.5mo DD on tommee tippee variflow. It took a couple of days for her to get the hang of it because she was used to sucking like crazy on a size 2. She flooded it everywhere for first few feeds, but now hardly spills a drop!

My DD was a greedy guts - she decided that size one was too slow at about 4 weeks old after stopping breastfeeding, size 2 was too slow at about 5 weeks old, but size 3 was waaaay too fast - tried a tommee tippee variflow and she started feeding properly for the first time with a bottle. She's still on variflow teats now at almost 6 months :) I think like everything baby-related, the ages on products are just guidelines
