DS has been trying out his new teeth on me and has given me a really nasty gash on my nipple. It happened yesterday morning and it's getting more painful - it starts to heal/close up and every time I feed him it opens up again so it just feels like it will never heal. I'm also worried about it getting infected. What should I do? I'm using Lansinoh. Should I put an antiseptic cream on too or will that poison DS?! How can I give it a chance to get better? (He feeds all night so now chance of giving it a break then.)
