Formula before breakfast?

DD is almost 11 months and I was exclusively breastfeeding her but from about 6 months I started to give her the occasional bottle of formula and recently I've decided to completely make the switch to formula feeding. The problem is I'm so used to her just taking what she wants so I have no idea how much formula she needs. We sort of fell into this loose routine:
6.30am 4oz bottle
8am breakfast
11am 5oz formula
1pm lunch
3:30pm 5oz formula
6pm dinner
7:30pm 6oz formula
8pm bed
But with this I found she wasn't eating much at breakfast and lunch and I wondered if I was giving her too much milk.
So I tried stopping the 4oz first thing and moved the 11am bottle to 10am. This has made her more hungry at breakfast and lunch so she eats more. But I'm now concerned she's not getting enough milk! I worry she's hungry when she gets up at 6:30am.
Any advice from any mums who know more about these things than me would be much appreciated!!
Thanks!

Until she's 12 months she needs a minimum of 20floz of formula a day, so for now, I'd stick with the morning bottle. Once she's reached 12 months you can ditch the formula and the bottles altogether and just give her a minimum of 300ml of full fat cows milk a day Smile

Thank you, that's exactly what I needed to know. Cheers!
