Chipped tooth / nipple shield

Twenty month old chipped her front tooth today and it cuts me when she feeds. I bought a nipple shield but she is refusing it. She will drink cows milk out of a bottle so she has alternatives but she is a bit distressed about not being able to breastfeed as usual. Any ideas? Also is there anything I could or should do about her chipped tooth?

Could you take her to the dentist? They may be able to put something on the tooth to make it less sharp.

Is your nipple healing ok?

Thank you, I got a dental appointment today, they gave me an emergency appointment. They said that if she tolerates it (!!) they might be able to file it. Interestingly she doesn't seem too distressed by the forced weaning, and I'm not too uncomfortably engorged at all, so fingers crossed all will be fine.
