Is Actifed OK while bfing an almost 2 yr old

My pharmacist says not advisable but I have a dripping nose which is unpleasant and I'm sure offputting for my own patients.

Pharmacist is right, best not to take it. what about a spray shouldn't really affect breastmilk. How often are you feeding anyway?

Katyjo, I'm afraid I went to a different pharmacist and took it anyway as I really couldn't work as I was. Kellymom says its safe but could potentially decrease milk supply. My supply seemed fine though. Ds3 feeds a lot for a boy his age. I can't sit down without him hoisting up my top!

Merry - I honestly don't think we need to worry too much about a possible marginal effect on supply with a 2 year old! Clearly, the issue might be different with a newborn and a mother establishing her supply.....so you did just the right thing and used common sense
