DS is drinking hardly any fluids at the moment and it's really stressing me out. Today: 5am 3oz, 8.30am 1oz, 12pm 1oz, 3.30pm 1oz (he then fell asleep and I dream fed him another 3oz until he pushed the bottle away and clamped his mouth shut) 7pm 2oz. He pushes the bottle away and absolutely refuses to have anymore. so today 11oz but the HV says he needs 18-20 oz a day at this age. I'm starting to find it really worrying especially as he won't have any water. Wondering if it's teething related as he seems to be having a lot of trouble with his top two teeth. Any ideas?

we all have days when we are hungrier/ thirsty than others.....if he is still having wet nappies and is not unwell ..then try not to worry too much... try giving a wet flannel to suck on , if he is hungry..he will feeed...and might drink gallons over the next few days.....
teething might certainly be putting him off his feeds

don;t worry .....unless he seems unwell, floppy or weak....

May well be the teeth. How long has this been going on? If only a few days I wouldn't be too concerned. Maybe he's coming down with a virus or something.
If he drinks very little he will probably become constipated.

Thank you for reassurance. Some days are better than others. I'm beginning to think he just gets bored of drinking as if we dream feed him and he's not aware he drinks loads. Sooooooooo today resorted to singing Old Macdonald has a Farm during every feed and he drank lots! I think the singing was so unbelievably bad he couldn't move
