Help - my breast milk is making DS2 sick!

I have given DS2 (8m) 3 breast feeds so far today - after each one he has burped and puked the whole lot back again. He was fine with his breakfast and dinner - it just seems to be the milk that is doing it. The only thing I ate yesterday that was a bit different was dried porcini mushrooms (rehydrated and cooked obviously). Any ideas what may the matter? He has been a bit fractious today but doesn't have a temperature although he is teething.
Thanks - any suggestions gratefully received.

may be due to teething? or a tummy bug? Its probably nothing to worry about but maybe if he is still like this tomorrow take him to doctor.

also try winding him every few minutes during feeding.

sorry cant think of anything else.

Was it posset or vomit? Sounds like posset if immediately after feed. If vomit need to get it checked by doc ? you could also call NHS Direct on 0845 4647. If posset, get him checked out if it continues. Obviously need to avoid dehydration so see if he will take some water (although he'll have got some fluids in his food). Not your breast milk that's making him sick, probably teething/ upset tummy or feeling a bit off-colour. If it's any consolation my 9-mth old ds is now on bottles and brings them up quite efficiently when he's ill. (Poor little man did this at 3.30 this morning ? all over dh )

Thanks - esp eddm - I was beginning to feel guilty that it was my fault! It wasn't just posset as half his lunch came up at the 3pm feed. He's asleep now having not been sick after his bed time feed so hopefully it's passed. Thanks both of you - you've made me feel better (if not him! )

tommy, you'll never guess what...within about 1 min of posting message yesterday my ds threw up beside the computer...right out of the blue? freaky coincidence???
ont the way to the bathroom to clean up he also threw up in the hall, and again just before going to bed.

he is 2.2yrs and teething his 2nd set of molars and often has a high temp when teething. digesting food produces heat in the body so so vomiting is a pretty good way for the body to start cooling down.

we've had a pretty restless night and taking it easy today. He had some calpol and lots of Teetha granules and looking much better now, though still a bit poorly.

hope your ds is feeling better.
another suggestion...try smaller breast feeds more often.

Thanks gloworm - sorry you had it all too! I tried offering smaller feeds more often but he just doesn't want them! He tends to muck about and turn round to watch his big brother uinless he's really hungry.
Today has been much better although still a bit fractious. he slept OK last night and wasn't sick so I guess he's on the way back to normal.
Thanks for all your comments!
