Help! Lactose or allergy maybe?

I don't know if anyone can help me. My daughter is 7 weeks old and has been on SMA milk since birth. She was given infant Gaviscon at 3 weeks because they think she has silent reflux and that made her constipated so stopped it so though it helped a little.

She is still only able to handle 1-2 ounces every two hours but she still seems hungry but just won't take it. After a bottle she sounds wheezy as if she struggling to breathe. She also dry heaves alot and coughs quite a bit. Very restless all the time and can only seem to take cat naps about half an hour a time

Could this be lactose intolerant or cows milk allergy? Has anybody experienced this?

What does you Gp say? Have you been referred to a Paed?

I agree with JJJ - some of what you say could be on the normal spectrum, and it would be important for a doctor to look at the whole picture alongside her growth and overall development. The wheezy thing is def worth investigating.
