5 month old bottle refuser

Dd has never had a bottle.

She is now feeding nearly all the time and I feel like I'm struggling to keep up with her needs. I also need to be able to leave her for short periods.

I have started small amounts of food, but its only tasting ATM!

Any ideas to persuade her to have formula? Would a sippy cup work?

Yes, there are other ways of getting milk into her. My add was a bottle refuser but I could leave her for the odd couple of hours with a cup of ebm occasionally.

Have you tried getting someone else to offer the bottle whilst you are out?

Could you talk to a BFC on one of the Bfing Helplines about how to space feeds out?

I eventually found that mine would only take formula in a sippy cup in his bouncy chair - I think any sort of cuddling/holding reminded him too much of breastfeeding. If you've started solids I presume you're using a high chair? Could you try sitting her in that and give her a sippy cup? So she thinks it's 'food' rather than 'milk'?
Have you tried leaving her? What happens? .
