do babies have to have a certain amount or be a certain age to go 4 hours between feeds

or is it each child is different or maybe it is just a myth and no babies go four hours?

Nope, current advice is to feed on demand for bottle fed babies too. Our 7 week old goes for about 4-5 hours at night and anything from 2-4 hours during the day, but all babies are different.

Just feed responsively, the hour hourly thing is outdated theses days. Most adults wouldn't go four hours without a drink/food and regular feeding helps regulate blood sugars more effectively.

my 14week old is having 5 feeds somedays but mostly six normally... but always same total amount of formula and always between 6am and 10pm

im wondering if he's transitioning to bigger feeds less often

babies know whay theyre doing he'll work it so he gets what he needs i just wish i had an idea..
