hi, my baby refused her bottle last night at 19.00 and it was left next to the sink and today at 15.00 my mum warmed it and gave it to her - will she be ok??

I'm no expert but I'd have thought you'd know by now if it was going to make her sick.

hopefully someone more knowledgable will be along soon but try not to worry, i'm sure she'll be fine.

Ring NHS direct. I imagine taht if she got some sort of food poisining she would be sick by now.

How old is your baby? I suspect they're more delicate when tiny, iyswim ...

lulumama · 21/11/2006 17:35

agree it is likely if she had some sort of food poisoning, then she would have vomited by now....

i think that maybe when her feeds are done, tip them down the sink and then there will be no worry!

old milk , especially rewarmed, is prime bacteria breeding ground so best to get rid of old feeds..x

My mum did that to my dd, also at 11 weeks funnily enough. she is a terrible eater and frequently refuses feeds but typically she lapped that one right up (it was about 6h old) We just kept a very close eye on her for a day or so but she was absolutely fine. hope your baby will be too.
