Probably a really stupid question about formula after age 1

DS has just turned 1 and for the last few weeks just has whole milk rather than formula.

I have a couple of bottles of ready made 1st stage formula left in the cupboard. Is there any reason I can't give this to DS now he's 1? Just to use it up, plus it seems easier if we are out and about than taking fresh milk.

Like I said, probably a daft question I'm sure there's no reason not to, just wanted to check though.

It's fine to use. Follow on milks are just a marketing gimmick, they are full of sugar too.

No, no reason not to. Just remember they only need 3-500ml of milk a day and preferably in a beaker or cup. They still have tiny tummies so food is more important than milk.

Sure you know all that anyway, but yes you can use them.

Fab thank you. Knew I could rely on MN for a quick answer!
