Hi! This is my first time on MN Smile
My LO is 8 weeks old and ebf. She feeds fairly regularly and is good at draining the breast. I offer her both sides and swap which one I start with at each feed . However every few days my right breast gets sooo engorged and sore. It is massive compared to my left! I thought they would have settled down by now!
Any advice about what I could do to prevent this? And once I stop will boobs be a similar size ever again.?!
Thanks!!

I had oversupply with DD2. It was worse on my left. It settled at 7 months, sorry.

Me too. I also had many bouts of matitis so watch out for lumps/red patches/fluey feelings and really try to drain the sore side. You can take ibuprofen too.

I still get very full at 7 months. I would always offer that breast if it is very full, maybe hand expressing a small amount first. Normally in my experience baby will take when offered! Just make sure you are offering regularly and allow the baby to 'drain' the breast rather than leave it half 'full' (obviously you can't drain a breast because of supply and demand but it feels like that iykwim).

Good advice thank you! Just worry that if I offer the engorged aide first and she drains it then the supply will increase even more!
