Hi, I've been feeding my 20 week old DD Aptamil First formula and just about to move to the next level up (Extra). I understand they are different in taste. Is it OK to mix type 1 and 2 formula initially so she gets used to the taste gradually?

No reason why not - if you have to use diff no. of scoops then make up the feed before mixing - don't mix the powder before adding water.
BUT if I were you I'd just try the follow on and save yourself the trouble - I've never heard of anyone having a problem - have you?

don't mix them IMO......one might be heavier than the other, if for hungrier babies..... the taste difference will be negligible

i;ve just gone from one to the other for both children without mxing...don't know anyone who has...!
