Colief, infacol and my sanity

On advice of midwife trying colief with my 4 week old who is suffering with wind/colic/general discomfort. Have been using infacol for 3 weeks..It has helped burps but bottom gas has increased and makes baby writhe and cry when laid down and last night had 3 hour screaming fit.

Can you use infacol and colief at the same time and how long does it take to make a difference. (I ask as know we had to persevere with infacol)

My DS suffered badly with trapped wind when he was tiny and we found infacol useless but coleif was fantastic and worked from day one, he needed it up until he was about 4 months old then got much better at clearing wind.
