Storing breast milk

I expressed quite a bit this morning - don't often have time to but trying to stock pile in case of emergencies - and forgot to put it in the bloody freezer! It's been out on the side in the kitchen all day. It won't have been very warm and definitely not in direct sunlight and I know you can keep expressed milk at room temperature for 12 hours. This would have been out for about 11 hours but is it still going to be ok to freeze or shouldn't I risk it?

How old is your baby?

Personally, I probably wouldn't risk this as it was the hottest day of the year so far and 11 hours would be too much for my liking. It's soul destroying but just not worth it - imagine if you have a baby up all night with a poorly tummy - and by 3am I can pretty much guarantee you'd be thinking "if only I'd just thrown that bloody milk away"......

He's only 7 weeks... I reckon you're probably right, it's not worth it.
