Just wondering if anyone has dropped the pre-bed bottle of milk? my lo is 15 months old and not sure how much longer she should have it for?
Those who still give, how close to bedtime do you give it?

Ds will be 18 months next week and he still has a warm bed time bottle. We give it just before bed but before teeth. I might try and tempt him with a cup in the next few weeks but I'm not overly worried about it. My niece is 16 (that's years old!) and she still has a glass of warm milk before bed sometimes! If she'd not rejecting other food, you're brushing her teeth afterwards and she's not over weight can I ask if there's a reason you're thinking of stopping it (if indeed you are)?

My 15 month old still has 4-5oz of milk in a cup, just before brushing his teeth.

Is the question about the bottle or the milk? If the child falls asleep drinking from the bottle that might be considered a bad habit & poor dental care. If you asked a HV they would say no bottles after 1yr old BUT lots of kids love the comfort of a bottle and still enjoy it at night at the age of 2 (or 3!) Milk in a cup I would give till 5 or 7 or older before bed, just before cleaning the teeth.
