Pumping after 6months - same effect?

Will pumping after feeds after 6 months of EBF (without pumping) increase my supply? I thought by 6 months there was already a different way the breasts were activated to produce milk instead of supply and demand?

I thought I wanted to stop BF but I am not ready. I stopped for 3 days and now my supply's gone down.

Supply is based on demand. Feed as normal and it will go up again. You can also express to encourage this. After 3 days, I wouldn't expect the supply to bet too far off.
