Forceful letdown?

Hey! Can anyone tell me if this sounds like a forceful let down?

DD is 5 weeks old and EBF using only nipple shields (can't latch her without)

During feeds of my right breast she sounds like she's guzzling the milk like you would down and pint, she regularly comes off and often starts choking during feeds. You can see milk dropping from the side of her mouth and it is all over her face, her hair, her bib, clothes, my bra and sometimes my t shirt after she has finished. She often vomits after and is very windy. You can also see the nipple shield is completely full every time she comes off!

She's gaining weight well, produces plenty of wet and dirty nappies and generally seems a happy baby.

Could this be a forceful let down? How do I deal with it? Bubba seems like she's drowning in milk!

I also posted a thread in parenting about milk spots as she has got tonnes... Actually I'll attach a photo. I'm wondering if the milk is irritating her skin when it's constantly dropping onto her face?

Her face is often an absolute state as she's got dried milk all over it and her hair always looks greasy (despite her bathing nightly!) because it's constantly filled with milk!
