Tommee tippee teats, help please

Can anyone please advise as I really don't want to have to buy a whole new set of bottles?

I've recently started giving some ff to my 9 week old and whenever I make up the bottle the teat will stop flowing at least a dozen times while feeding. I've tried the stage 1 and stage 2 teats but the result is the same.

The bottles and teats are fine when I express and feed though

Has anyone had the same or know a solution please?

What formula is it? Do the teats have valves on them?

It's cow and gate 1 formula. The teats do have valves on them.

roll the valve between your fingers to make sure it is open before feeding as they can sometimes get stuck shut. Maybe the warmer formula makes them stick shut more often than when you use breastmilk.

We have tried exactly that, and no joy :(
