How much formula at 8weeks

DS is nearly 8 weeks and just about rady to go up to 6oz. That seems like loads as DD fed less but probably more often.

What is the average?

i have a 4 month old ds and he was always good on his feeds. i say, if your ds is drinking that much then just go with it, he may start to drink less in a few weeks. I found this with my ds, sometimes he would drink all his bottles for a while then when i increased it he would drink less than before. its always best having extra in the bottle rather than not enough and your baby still being hungry, which could lead to you feeding him more often. have you spoke to your health visitor about it?

agree with clewin...

average not important...if your LO is hungry and draining bottles, add an extra ounce.....they might not always drink it but it is there...if too much..it will come back up!!
