Nursing strike? Just normal for growing 4mo?

hello,
My 4mo ebf ds has suddenly gone from 7-8 feeds a day to 4-5 a day. It's been going on for the last 36hours and I'm wondering if normal or if something's wrong. If offered he'll either just fuss and don't take it or take it a little like latch suck suck unlatch.
He seems fine otherwise but we're on holiday (not far away) and he has a runny eye but not problematic I think.
Thank you

Didn't want to read and run. My DS2 went on several nursing strikes. Usually when he was under the weather, but that only became evident after. Nursing strike was first sign that he had sore ears and sore throat from an inner ear infection. It hurt to feed.

It is worrying and stressful and made me v hormonal when DS2 did this, but they are just off their food, like you might be when ill. try and dream feed or feed while walking around to keep your baby feeding and trust your instincts. Express if you need to Keepyour supply up. Good luck.
