Is this normal after mastitis/inflamed blocked duct

I have just had my fourth battle with this which I managed to clear without antibiotics.

Tenderness has finally gone but my affected breast feels odd where the problem was. There is a largish area of rubbery tissue remaining. It doesn't feel dodgy but it is definitely different from the same side of the other breast... Kind of higher. It's about the size of two or three fifty pence pieces.

I'm off to GP tomorrow but they seem shit at these things....

When I had my last bout of mastitis I had a lump which wouldn't shift. No tenderness and assumed it was blocked duct but after three days of no improvement I went back to gp. He checked and said definitely a duct. I wasn't convinced but it had gone by the next morning after a few mammoth feeding sessions.

How close were your 4 cases or mastitis?

I had it 3 times in a row and it came back twice in very quick succession you need a long course of antibiotics 10-14 days and maybe a different type as the first one may not be killing off all the bacteria.
