smelly farts and green poo in an 8 week old

ds was bf but he couldn't get it right and was diagnosed with tongue tie at 7 weeks (he's not great with a teat either). meanwhile my milk is dwindling and i can only manage about 6 oz of ebf per day. after being prescribed enfamil ar for hidden reflux (no puking just white tongue and crying after feeds) which i jacked in after 2 days as he started to puke at every feed and his poo was very hard lumps i moved him on to aptimil bu miliupa. his poo is green and he farts a lot during the day and really seems uncomfortable. i seems to have to carry him in my arms most of the day which is proving difficult with a 3 year old at home too. any ideas? is he not tolerating the aptimil? should i change milks again or will i make him worse? i don't think he's lactose intolerant as he's only going once a day and it doesn't look any more runny than breast fed baby poo?

Hiya Issy, My ds could not tolerate formulas when i gave up breastfeeding and we had green poo and was very runny but about 7 times a day and it turns out he has quite a few allergies but that doesnt sound the same as your DS.

He was also on aptimil and then sma, i saw a slight difference when i put him on Hipp Organic which was reccomended to me on here so you could try that one.

I have a spare packet of hipp organic left over, as he is now on precription milk that you could have.

I've used Nanny formula with both my children, when i finished bf. This formula is based on goats milk which is much closer to human milk than cows milk. Most people who use it find baby has less wind/colic/eczema and less likely to have dairy allergy when older. As far as I know its only available in health stores.
