Formula feeding/Vomiting

Hi

feeling a bit crappy. I feed my little one Formula. He's 11 weeks old and guzzle monster. He's brought milk up from when I started him on formula (had to abandon the boob as he wouldn't latch on poor sausage) but only a little bit and once or twice a day.
This last two weeks on and off he's been bringing up almost a whole bottle. Not all the time. Mostly its just a dribble. Today has been bad though. Sometimes its digested. Day's like today, its a mix of digested and just gone down milk. I've tried everything. I've tried taking the feed down a bit. I've tried little and often. I've asked the Health Visitor and they advised against little and often, saying instead to increase the amount. I've taken him to the Doctor and he advised the opposite. I feel completely at a loss, incredibly stupid because the answer should be obvious to me and it isn't and just a bit crap really. I've got PMT I think so I'm more whiney than I usually am. I'll get over it. He's happy and lively enough. I think I just needed to vent xxx Sorry about this x

Have you tried changing formula? My DS was quite a pukey little one but switching to Cow and Gate comfort seemed to calm it down quite a bit though not completely.

I would also say (as a complete nonprofessional opinion) that little and often would make it easier for him to digest so I'd go with that too.

Also give yourself a break, you're 11 weeks into motherhood and nothing is clear cut for any of us. You're doing a grand job just by trying to help him find what suits him best :)
