Posted a few weeks ago about bleeding nipples.
I've had constant cracked and bleeding nipples really for the last 5 months. I've had repeated mastitis and a bout of thrush for the last month that I just can't get rid of even with a lot of meds proscribed and homeopathic. I have had support from HV and BF support no problem with latch etc.
The pain got to the point that last week I introduced a formula ( was pumping but it did not help as it continued to split my nipples) feed once a day just to have a break.
Anyway long story. I'm hating not feeding him myself fed my first for over a year and loved it.
Has anyone experienced this or similar and gone on to feed for a prolonged time. I need some hope.
