Evening.
I EBF my 12 week old. I always bring him upstairs at 6.30pm when we put our toddler to bed and then he feed for an hour/hour and a half and then usually sleeps till about 2am. Tonight and another night this week he has seemed hungry when I have brought him upstairs but screams and cries when I try to feed him. He gets more and more upset the more I try and cheers up as soon as I stand up and walk around with him.
I did not BF my other child past 2 weeks so I am new to the breast feeding. Should I assume he is not hungry and try and get him off to sleep another way or could he be hungry and in some kind of pain? He feeds fine the rest of the time and I have brought his wind up. I am concerned there is something wrong with him although he seems to stop crying when I stop trying to feed him.
Any advice would be appreciated. I ended up a sobbing mess earlier and my husband is currently wearing him round the house in a sling and he seems to be happy now. I prob sound over dramatic but I am very tired.
He has fed so well up till now and has gained plenty of weight and followed his centile. Should I stop trying to do some kind of bedtime routine with him?
