Hello to all, My son is 6 weeks +3 he's been on SMA since day two of being born he has had colic he's also very sicky and he has green poo which I was told was a sign of Colic I'm considering changing his milk and just wondered if it's safe and okay to do so and which formula anyone would recommend.... Thanks..

I always heard the odd green poo was normal. Both of my babies did them from time to time and no colic. They both had wind though and were changed...their formulas I mean.

I changed from SMA to Hipp Organic. I also got Dr Brown bottles which made a world of difference...fiddly to clean but fabulous to use.

It is safe to change...if you're nervous about it, begin in the morning and not at bedtime as it will cause some alterations in his digestion and may take a few days to get used to. When you feed him, keep him sitting as upright as possible and not lying back...wind him well and if he seems to have trapped wind, try the sleeping lion hold..google that and you will see how to hold him.
