Windy bottom and squirming

Can anyone help or console me over my 6 week old windy baby. I've tried infacol and recently colief but he continues to squirm and fart 24/7. The last 24 hours have been hideous with the pain preventing him from sleeping (and me). He is mainly breastfed but he has one formula feed in the morning (from when he didn't put on weight in week 2) and 2 expressed feeds at 7 and 11pm. He is now gaining week very fast but grunts and coughs and cries and screams all the time. Have my 6 week check monday but not sure how to get through next 3 days. Also have 5 year old and DH working a lot. I'm tempted to stop all the added medication and formula to see if that is the problem, but longer term he will need formula when I return to work so figured he might as well get used to it now.

Mine was like this but learned to burp at about 7 or 8 weeks! Smile Suddenly no more infacol needed! Hope it happens for you too.

A vibrating bouncy chair helped moved the bubbles up or down when she had trapped wind too, if you have one. Line it with an old towel if she's due a poo though.

Could you express a bottle (to keep baby used to bottles) instead of the formula? That's what I've been doing with mine.

Thx and fingers crossed for next 2 weeks. Thinking about dropping the formula and just expressing for the last feed instead. Just have a normal bouncer but he does like to poo in that. Poor little thing seems so unhappy.
