Stomach bug whilst BF

Do breat fed babies have immunity to stomach bugs? I'm sure I read that somewhere. DP and DD are both sick, I don't have it (yet?) but am worried about 7 wk DS if he gets it...

Minko - it is great you are bf your baby because of the way these bugs are already around him. He may well be immune, because you will already be making antibodies as a result of your contact with DP and DD .

Breastfed babies do not never get stomach bugs - the research shows they have fewer episodes of this sort of illness compared to formula fed babies, however.
