not sure what's goin on really, we've BF for the past 8 months (mostlyu thanks to u girls in the beggining) he's having 2 BF's p/d rest is formula- did do about 10 extra's over the month for things like he'd bumped his head, or fallen over so the boob came out for comfort anyhow, last 2 nights i've had (in the left side which i've had mastitus in twice) a real pain when he latches on it starts as an achey type but really quite painful, then seems to feel as if it's all dry and theres nothing there. tonight I had it on the other side as well. morning feeds are OK still.

when I squeeze (as u do) after he's unlatched there's milk there coming out althou not spurting.

any ideas, I think if I have another infection i'll be stopping, I was considering stopping anyways (always am these days! lol just never get around to it! lol)

Are you due a period? Discomfort doesn't necessarily mean infection. Milk will not justdry up after 8 months. As long as you are feeding you will produce milk.

funny u should say that mears - i'm a week late tomorrow, have tested and had 2 neg tests. would that effect things at all?

Just that boobs can get really sore before period starts. Maybe it will start in next couple of days or you will test positive Pregnancy can make boobs tender.

bloody well hope not! lol. it would be really bad if I tested positive! fingers crossed it's the monthly finally getting here late! lol - like busses late then 2 come along at once! main worry is an infection tbh.
